Dr. Tillwich H311 Woodwind Mechanism Oil, 8 ml is a high-quality precision lubricant developed for the fine moving components of woodwind key mechanisms. Supplied in a precision oiler with a narrow tip for accurate application to small lubrication points.
Features and benefits
H311 is specially formulated for precision mechanical components. It reduces friction, supports smooth key movement and provides long-lasting protection against corrosion.
The oil is acid-free and non-resinifying, and remains cold-resistant down to −10 °C. Its fine applicator helps minimise waste and reduces the risk of lubricant reaching the instrument's pads.
Applications and compatibility
Suitable for the mechanisms of clarinets, saxophones, flutes, oboes, bassoons and other woodwind instruments, including those with metal bodies.
Designed for keywork, rod and pivot screws, moving lever connections and selected spring contact points. Useful for routine mechanism maintenance and professional woodwind repair workshops.

Application recommendations
Apply a very small amount of oil to an accessible pivot, rod or linkage lubrication point. Operate the key gently several times, then remove any excess with a lint-free cloth.
Important: avoid contact with pads, cork and felt components. H311 is not a bore oil for treating the internal wooden surface of an instrument. Sticking mechanisms or excessive play should be examined by a repair technician.
